“Bakery for Pets Opens Just Outside Saratoga Springs”
GREENFIELD CENTER, NY – Paw Lickers, an all natural bakery for pets, is holding it's grand opening celebration this Saturday, December 10th, from 9am to 6pm. The store, a first of it's kind in the capital region, is located approximately 5 miles North of Saratoga Springs on Route 9N in Greenfield Center.
The event will feature free samples of the bakery's many menu items, from basic pumpkin cookies and beef jerky to more exotic fare such as puppy pizzas, bacon cheddar muffins and blueberry biscotti. All of Paw Lickers treats are all natural and include no preservatives or byproducts. The store also features an assortment of unique harnesses and leashes for pets, as well as toys, dog beds and training supplies.
Paw Lickers was started in July 2003 by a mother and son, Marianne and David Gage, in an effort to bring healthy, all natural treats to dog owners around the capital region. The treats were originally marketed to health food stores around the area, and sold on the internet as well. The duo soon realized they had a hit on their hands and decided it was time to expand. They have now gone from three flavors of dog cookies to almost 10 unique pet delicacies and are currently expanding their lines even further.
